Through the close collaboration of the Oakland Public Education Fund, trusted community partners, and the Oakland Unified School District, #OU is evolving to meet today’s educational challenges while staying true to our mission.

What’s next for Community Connectivity:

While #OU focuses on student connectivity, local digital inclusion advocates are relaunching the East Bay Broadband Consortium (EBBC)—a parallel and complementary effort to ensure that the same connection that lifts students in school, lifts everyone else in their communities. EBBC will work with partners in Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano counties, powering homes, libraries, small businesses, and community hubs. To learn more visit eastbaybroadband.org.
