Shout out to the 175+ students, parents, educators, community and funding partners, and local, state, and federal elected officials who joined us at MLK Jr. Elementary to celebrate our collective impact, recognize our coalition, and announce our new commitments for the future:
All 50,000+ Oakland public school students will continue to have home access to a computer, internet and tech support for the third straight year AND that commitment is expanded to pre-K through college
Expansion of #OU’s mission beyond students and a bold new goal to connect 90% of the 36,000 disconnected residents across the city to high-speed broadband within five years
